JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

5+ years SAP FUNCTIONAL design & configuration experience with some Technical knowledge (90% Functional/ 10% Technical) including experience working with PM, MM & IM modules.
Ideal candidates is currently transitioning to become ABAP Developer with solid experience on SAP modules ( MM,PM,IM & SM)
Work with IT Managers, SAP Work & Materials Management subject matter experts, and Business Stakeholders to provide information and configuration solutions.
Coordinate / perform configuration changes including: identification, analysis, and testing for problem resolution, enhancements, upgrades, and integration activities.
Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for identified issues and problems.
Analyze, propose and execute enhancements to improve functionality and increase effectiveness of system, including incorporation of changes as the Company pursues new business opportunities.
Work with the technical support teams to provide input and coordination of activities related to routine system interfaces, third party bolt-on products, and customization requests/programs.
Work with operations personnel to help identify and provide input to operation procedures and plans.
Provide expertise to support ongoing user training efforts
Participate in evaluation of software changes for SAP PM/PS/MM modules.
Be a liaison between the SAP Environment and end users
Document and perform unit, string, integration, and regression testing

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

SAP ECC 6.0 experience
Strong working knowledge of core business processes in PM, MM & IM.
Strong functional experience doing configuration for PM, MM & IM.
Strong working knowledge of SAP master data for PM, MM & IM with the ability to analyze the impact of configuration or process changes across other SAP modules
SAP business process testing experience in the following areas: Maintenance planning and processing, procurement, inventory management, business workflow.
Some experience helping with analyzing and designing technical solutions, coordinating development efforts with technical team.
Knowledge of technical: workflow, BAPIs, BADIs, IDOC, ALE, and SAP Scripts, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Visio, MS Power Point
Very important to have work experience on a project that used structured Project Management methodology - this person does not need to be a PM but must work well with project managers and understand their language
Must have excellent technical writing skills to drive the development of functional and technical specifications.

DESIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:

Experience with SM module is a plus.
Experience with service pack EHP 6 is a plus
